THE OAKBUD ROOM
This is our new preschool room for predominantly 3 year old children. Children attending this room often have not started play school. This new room is used as a filter room for the Oak Branch Room. This is a spacious area with its own kitchen, toilet area, art area, story corner, quiet area (should your child need to rest) and spacious floor space for your child to learn and develop.
In the Oak Bud Room staff will at all times endeavour to meet your child’s potential at a pace that is achievable to them. As your chid is 3 years of age we will help promote their independence and self help skills in preparation for Play School and School life.
Often at this age children are toilet trained, no longer sleep and eat a full and varied diet however if your child requires to sleep or help with diet or toilet training this is no problem. Children in the Oak Bud Room do not take a note home as their communication skills are advanced however parents will still continue to communicate with room staff in the evening.
Oakwood Childcare Centre works closely with the local Play Schools in Derrylin and Kinawley, should you wish to avail of our bus service for drop off and pick up to Playschool please let us know.
